The Psychomanteum

The ‘Psychomanteum’ is an installation and interactive artwork where selected viewers were invited to engage in a ritual performance intended to induce visions. It is a modern reimagining of an ancient greek oracle where people went to visit with spirits of the dead. The prints shown here are a form of quasi religious art that lined the walls of this recreation of an ancient temple of Apollo.
